Surfando a Vida Mesmo Sendo Analógica: Arte, Tecnologia e Resistência Criativa

I am an artist.
My hands know the smell of acrylic paint, the touch of feathers and other treasures found in Beirut, the weight of a traditional brush, the sounds that surround my studio.
I am 57 years old — yes, I am analog to the core.

But artistic life sometimes asks us to dance on digital grounds we didn’t choose.
And when the floor of contemporary art trembles — as it has here in Beirut, under the weight of this humanitarian crisis that devours even “pão duro” (stale bread) — an artist cannot wait.
We must fly.

And so — with my heart rooted between Brazil (where I was born and raised), Japanese wabi-sabi (where I inherited the art of imperfection), and Lebanon (where life tests me with every heartbeat) — I decided to sell my art online in Brazil, reinventing myself in Beirut.

But how does one make digital art while being analog at heart?

And yet — I did not abandon art.

Como Encontrar Equilíbrio Entre o Digital e o Analógico na Arte Contemporânea

Sou artista. Minhas mãos conhecem o cheiro da tinta acrílica, o toque das penas e outras coisinhas encontradas em Beirute, o peso do pincel tradicional, os barulhos do redor do ateliê. Tenho 57 anos, sim sou analógica raiz.

E foi assim que, com o coração aterrado entre o Brasil (onde nasci e cresci), o wabi-sabi japonês (onde herdei a percepção wabi-sabi) e o Líbano (onde a vida me testa a cada pulsar), decidi vender minha arte no Brasil online — me reinventando em Beirute.

Vender arte online sendo artista tradicional é possível. A transição digital para artistas analógicos pode ser desafiadora, mas também libertadora.

No final, descobri que ser analógica num mundo digital não é fraqueza — é autenticidade. E a autenticidade na arte contemporânea sempre encontra seu lugar, seja no ateliê físico ou na galeria virtual.
